Numerous factors influence leadership success. To develop genuine improvement in leadership performance and effectiveness, all factors need to be addressed.
Only by understanding your own drivers of behaviour can you develop consistency and mastery of good leadership skills. To ensure positive professional outcomes and personal growth when undertaking a leadership development program, an individualised approach is essential.
The Leadership Development Framework, is a unique approach to growing your leadership capabilities and designed to enhance your personal insight, evolve your leadership mindset and encourage effective leadership behaviour. It enables you to understand your behavioural drivers before any attempt is made to change or develop new behaviours.
Work on an individual basis is undertaken in a manner that best suits you, and draws on a variety of assessment techniques and methods of engagement.
Fundamental to the process are the one-on-one leadership counselling, development and strategy sessions. In these meetings, my skills as a psychologist and experience as a business consultant are applied to understand, explore and develop your leadership behaviours.
At all times the sessions are practical and based around your day-to-day work situations. Current relationships with work colleagues, leadership tasks, everyday successes and challenges are debriefed and examined as part of the coaching process. This allows you to be guided through the issues that confront you, as well as helping you learn from your positive results and applying this knowledge to progress towards leadership mastery.
One-on-one sessions last between 1 to 2 hours and are usually scheduled on a fortnightly basis in the early stages of the process. Over time this devolves to monthly, as driven by you and your requirements.
